NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley Storm girls’ basketball team hosted Delhi in the second game of the 2023 season, falling short 41-36. UV started out strong with 12 points in the first quarter, but couldn’t pick up the pace, allowing Delhi room to capitalize.
The Storm’s offense was led by Natalie Crandall with a team-high 17 points, including six points each in the first and fourth quarters, when the team needed the drive the most. Emmalyn Montgomery finished with six points in the loss.
UV (1-1) will play in the Sherburne-Earlville tip-off tournament this weekend with the first game on Friday at 7:30 p.m. against the hosting Marauders.
