NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley Storm girls basketball team hosted Deposit/Hancock on Wednesday night, coming away with a big 46-22 victory. This win was a relief for the Storm as they snapped a three-game losing streak to get back into the win column.
Both teams started out strong on the defensive front, but UV had the advantage on rebounding and following through with their shots to hold a comfortable lead. Jaiden Schrag found her rhythm quickly in the second and third quarters, combining with 14 points and finished with a team-high of 20 points overall. She excelled at stealing the ball and driving to the basket to carry the Storm to its dominant victory.
