SIDNEY – On Wednesday, the Unadilla Valley/Norwich Storm bowling team rolled off against the Sidney Sabers, where the girls came away with the victory and the boys came up just short.
The Storm boys didn’t fall by much as the final score was 2959-2714. Sidney had the overall advantage with three bowlers finishing with a 625 or better series, including the team’s leading 669.
Jacob Prentice led UV/Norwich with a 604 series, including a 222 in his final game. Nate Rumovicz finished with a 580 series as he bowled a 204 and a 203 in the first two games.
Phalen Hill helped the Storm girls sweep all scores against Sidney with a 622 series as she bowled a team-high of a 234 in her final game. Sidney did have the overall high series with a 642.
Brynn Grant finished with a 570 series and bowled a 216 in the first game.
UV/Norwich faces Deposit on Friday at Fox Bowl in Hancock at 3:45 p.m.
