HANCOCK – The Unadilla Valley/Norwich Storm bowling team was back in action against Deposit on Friday, where both boys and girls achieved wins. The boys bounced back after a loss to Sidney, while the girls remain undefeated through four matches, only giving up one game to Oxford/Greene.
The Storm boys were led by Nate Rumovicz, who bowled an all-around high series of a 648, including a 278 in the final game. Jacob Prentice finished behind him with a 592 series with his highest game of a 222 in the first game.
UV/Norwich’s Andie Mucha out bowled teammates Phalen Hill and Brynn Grant this time as she finished with a team-high series of a 617. Mucha bowled a 234 in the first game and a 204 in her second of three games. Phalen Hill finished with a 606 while Grant had a 599 series.
UV/Norwich heads back to Fox Bowl on Thursday as they face Hancock at 3:45 p.m.
