NORWICH – The Norwich Police Benevolent Association is wishing the community a happy holiday and seeking community support.
Norwich Police Officer and Association President Samuel Stratton thanked residents for supporting the union's work in aiding local programs.
Officer Corey Wengert is the organization's vice president, Officer Tyler Dexheimer is the secretary and Officer Corey Burnett is treasurer.
“On behalf of the Norwich Police Benevolent Association we would like to express our deep appreciation for your assistance with our various projects and programs. We are currently requesting the community's support with our annual Community Benefit Campaign” said Stratton.
“With your generosity over the years the PBA has been able to assist in many community programs such as: Law Enforcement Scholarships, Youth Sports, Norwich-Oxford Little League, Toys for Tots, Cram the Cruiser, Drug Awareness Education, Youth Bureau, Relay for Life, Public Health(Drug take back), Torch Run, Assist with Special Olympic events and multiple Norwich City Clubs and events,” said Stratton.
All funds donated will go to supporting local programs, providing police presence at community events and to promote fundraising.
To make a donation call 607-334-1212 or send a donation by mail, to P.O. Box 707 or dropped it off directly at the Police Department Department, located at 18 East Main Street in Norwich. Checks should be made payable to the Norwich PBA or the Norwich Police Benevolent Association.
