GREENE – After a close win against Bainbridge-Guilford, the Greene Trojans boys’ basketball team returned home to host their annual holiday tournament, featuring Windsor, Dryden, and Sidney. Greene faced Windsor in the opening round, coming away with a close 51-44 win.

The Trojans stayed consistent on offense to achieve the victory. Greene held Windsor to seven points in both the first and third quarters that helped lessen the threat the Black Knights attempted in the final eight minutes.

Greene was led by Jaden Eroshevich, Joel Vielandi, and Trevor Ketcham on the night. Eroshevich posted a team-high of 13 points while Vielandi had 11 and Ketcham with 10 points.

Greene continues to climb the MAC leaderboard with an overall record of 3-2 while only playing in a single league match-up thus far this season. The Trojans sit behind both Delhi and Deposit-Hancock for the time being in the league standings. Greene plays Dryden, who defeated Sidney, in the tournament championship this evening.
