CANASTOTA – Coming off a home win against Walton/Delhi, the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders wrestling team traveled to take on Canastota on Wednesday. S-E came away with a 48-27 victory, their 10th win of the season. S-E improves to 10-1 overall and 2-1 in the CSC West division.

The Marauders received seven forfeits, totaling 42 points alone. Pasley French, Jackson Moore, Trenton Anderson, Manny Hollins, Noah Ackerman, Selina Moore, and Richie Fuller all added wins to their current individual records.

S-E’s Landon Andrade picked up the lone pin for the final six points in the 285 weight class. He earned his quickest pin of the season against Canastota’s Adrian Chavez within 40 seconds. Andrade now has 11 pins on the season and is 19-2 overall.

S-E’s Aiden Shreve, Justin Race, Nick Miller, Alex Campbell, and Aiden Kiehn all fell short in their respective matches.

S-E will be competing in the Denny Wright Duals in Homer on Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. before hosting senior night against Norwich on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
