HOMER - The Oxford/Greene girls' wrestling team brought three wrestlers to the Homer Girls Tournament on Sunday, where they finished eighth as a team. All three girls placed in their respective weight class.

Brooke Williams was the top performer for the Lady Blackhawks as she finished in third place in the 132 weight class. Williams went 3-2 on the day with three quick pins. Her quickest pin was within 18 seconds against Baldwinsville's Francesca Palmisano. In the finals match, she pinned Auburn's Natalee Woodard in 29 seconds. The sophomore is now 10-6 on the season.

Ahraya Whitt and Kelsey Loiselle also finished strong for Oxford/Greene. Whitt came in fifth place in the 114 weight class, going 2-2. She won by forfeit while pinning Baldwinsville's Arianna Leo in 3:42 in the final match. Whitt sits at 6-7 through her freshman year.

Loiselle picked up just her second varsity win that helped her finish sixth in the 152 weight class. Her lone win on the day was by forfeit.

Great job, ladies.
