CHENANGO FORKS - Prior to Friday night's match-up against Chenango Forks, the Greene Trojans boys' basketball team had been rolling through a five-game win streak. However, that streak was snapped in a 45-39 deficit. While the game was a non-league contest, Greene still holds their strong composure in the MAC behind Delhi, who they'll face next.

Both teams played a neck-and-neck first half, tied at 17 a piece. Greene's Joel Vielandi scored all seven of the team's second quarter points going into the break. Both teams would continue to settle in at a fast pace with Forks going ahead by small margin. Greene had control, but couldn't hold their own to stop Forks and set up their own big run when it mattered most.

Vielandi led the Trojans with 15 points while Jaden Eroshevich and Will Dunlap, being a second half play-maker, both settled for eight points. Trevor Ketcham and Kloden Rapp both contributed with four points each in the loss.

Greene (6-4) continues a long road trip as they head to Delhi in a rescheduled game this evening at 5:30 p.m.
