EARLVILLE – The Sherburne-Earlville bowling team returned to the lanes on Tuesday afternoon, where they hosted Cooperstown in their final match of the regular season. S-E also honored its lone senior Riley Smith. Congratulations, Riley for your hard-work and dedication to the bowling program.
S-E fell to Cooperstown 4-1 by a final score of 2377-2350. The match was close to the very end with S-E having luck in the first game (778-710) but Cooperstown has been leading the CSC West throughout the season with S-E in second.
Leland Smith led S-E with a 556 series with a 192 in the second game. Colton Camenga bowled the team’s highest game of the day with a 206 in the third game to finish with a 523 series. Riley Smith bowled two games on his special night with a 118 and a 115 for a 233 series.
S-E finished the regular season with a 10-3 record and head to sectionals.
