Boys' Basketball: Norwich Bounces Back With Win Over Windsor

WINDSOR – Coming off two tough games, the Norwich Purple Tornado got back into shape against STAC league opponent Windsor. Norwich snapped a two-game skid and also swept the two-game series against Windsor with a 68-46 victory.

Norwich had a steady performance from the entire team throughout the contest with their leading point guard Steven Dowdall back on top. Norwich seemed comfortable as they settled with a 37-23 lead at the break before adding on in the third quarter. In the second quarter alone, Norwich posted 21 points, which Dowdall paved the way with eight of his total 19 points before the half.

Aside from Dowdall, Graham Burton added 15 points, where he was consistent throughout the entire game. Jacob Morris knocked in three three's for nine points while Colin Olds finished with eight points in the win.

Norwich (8-7) have just two regular season games remaining, where they'll host Oneonta for senior night on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. Both teams have the same overall record, but Norwich is undefeated in divisional play.
