NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley/Norwich bowling team concluded the 2023-2024 regular season with a victory over Deposit on Tuesday afternoon. They head to the MAC championships as confident as ever after a strong season.
The Storm girls swept the boards with a 2697-2067 victory. Brynn Grant led the team with a 612 series, including a team-high 225 in her second game. Shelby Rose impressed with a 556 series with scores of 208, 177, and 171. Andie Mucha had a 544 series with a 214 in her second game.
The UV boys bowled a dominant 3010 to take all three games and the overall score against Deposit. Nate Rumovicz, Dawson Robinson, and Jacob Prentice all bowled a 629 or better while Tyler Bates added a 594. Rumovicz led the Storm with a 666 series with all 200 games, including a 237 in his second game. Prentice had the team’s highest game with a 243 in his final game of the night.
UV/Norwich heads to the MAC Championship on Tuesday, February 13. The championship will be held at Ripics Carousel Lanes in Binghamton.
