OXFORD- Pumpkin Shell Nursery School, a prominent community-focused entity, is thrilled to announce its upcoming Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser, promising an evening of delectable flavors and shared moments. This event is set to take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on February 16 at The Oxford Legion, 17 South Washington Ave.
Dinner attendees can look forward to a delightful feast featuring an array of mouthwatering dishes crafted by our talented culinary team. The star of the evening will undoubtedly be our signature spaghetti, perfectly cooked and generously paired with a selection of rich, savory sauces. Complimenting the main course, guests will be treated to a delicious homemade cookie, side salad and roll.
"We are excited to bring the community together for an evening of good food, great company, and a chance to support Pumpkin Shell's initiatives," said Lisette Moore, Program Director at Pumpkin Shell. "The Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser is not just about satisfying your taste buds; it's about fostering a sense of community and contributing to the positive impact we aim to make in Oxford."
In addition to the culinary delights, the event will feature a 50/50 raffle and a donation jar for Pumpkin's mission and ongoing projects. Proceeds from the Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser will directly contribute to Pumpkin Shell's Preschool Program. Pumpkin Shell is a parent cooperative program. A program driven to provide child centered developmental learning, where young children can build emotional, social and intellectual skills.
Tickets for the spaghetti dinner are priced at $12 pre-sale/dine in ($14 take out) and children's meals 12 years and younger are $8. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased directly from Pumpkin Shell members or contact Pumpkin Shell at pumpkinshell1971@gmail.com. Pumpkin Shell encourages the community to come together, share a meal, and make a positive impact on the local community.
Pumpkin Shell has recently received a substantial outpouring of support from individuals, businesses, and community partners who share our commitment to a child centered developmental learning program.
With donations from member families, local people as well as Dave Shull of Nina's Pizzeria in Norwich we are humbled and immensely grateful for the generosity shown by our community. These donations are more than just financial support; they are a powerful affirmation of the shared belief in our mission to continue our child centered developmental learning program. With these contributions, we are empowered to make a meaningful and lasting impact," said Lisette Moore, Program Director at Pumpkin Shell Nursery School.
