GREENE – The Greene Central School District is hosting a basketball charity fundraiser tonight, Friday, March 8, where the Trojan faculty and staff will take on neighboring Whitney Point at 7 p.m. in the high school gym. All proceeds from this event will be donated, including 40 percent of the concession stand going to support the local food bank while the other 60 percent is going back to the booster club to help replenish supplies and equipment.

The event will also feature games for students at halftime, including the infamous half court shot and other team obstacles. Each game costs $1 per attempt and all winners will receive a ticket for one item at the concession stand.

Admission to enter the event is $1 for students and $2 for adults. Come out and show off your Trojan pride by wearing school colors!
