CHENANGO COUNTY – Little League sign ups have been underway as we get closer to the spring season. The Norwich-Oxford and Sherburne area leagues have deadlines that are quickly approaching. For Norwich-Oxford, the online registration deadline has been extended until noon today, March 12. Register online at their website: https://tshq.bluesombrero.com/noxll. The Sherburne area league’s deadline is quickly approaching as well. The league requires all majors and minors players to be signed up by the evaluation dates. For baseball, evaluations will take place this Saturday, March 16 from 9-11 a.m. at the Sherburne-Earlville High School lower gymnasium. Softball evaluations will begin the following Saturday, March 23 from 9-11 a.m. at the lower gym as well. The league states that teams will be immediately drafted after evaluations so participation is necessary. T ball and D ball sign ups and clinic will be on April 6 from 9-11 a.m. in the lower gym.
