SHERBURNE – It’s never too early to show your children the wonders of Nature, which is exactly what Nature’s Nursery at Rogers Center sets out to do.
The program is a unique opportunity for children ages 2-5 to be introduced to new concepts, social interactions, hands-on games and activities! Jenni Larchar, Children’s Program Coordinator at Rogers Center, incorporates playful melody into her stories, lessons, and outdoor adventures as she encourages independent and inquisitive exploration.
The Spring Session starts March 20, with applications due by March 13, and runs for eight sessions until May 15, with no class on April 3. Classes are held on Wednesday mornings from 8:15 to 10:15, and follow the Sherburne-Earlville school calendar, meaning if there is a snow day, then the program will be canceled.
Nature’s Nursery costs $125 per child for the entire eight week session and registration is required. For more information or to register please email jenni@friendsofrogers.org or call (607) 674-4733.
The mission of the Friends of Rogers is to provide outstanding educational opportunities that excite, inspire, and motivate people of all ages to enjoy, understand, appreciate, and protect our natural environment.
