CHENANGO COUNTY – The deadline to register to vote in the 2024 Presidential Primary is 5 p.m., March 23.

Chenango County voters must register with the Chenango County Board of Elections to vote in the Presidential Primary Election, which will be held on held on April 2.

Offices for the Board of Elections are located at the County Office Building at 5 Court Street, in the City Norwich.

On April 2, Presidential Primary Early Voting will be conducted at the Board of Elections office in the basement level of the County Office Building during the following dates and times:

Saturday and Sunday, March 23, 24, 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, March 25, 27, 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Tuesday and Thursday, March 26, 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

April 2, 2024 is the presidential primary election absentee/early voting by mail request deadline.

April 1 – In-person request for application for ballot must be made in the Board of Elections office by 5 p.m.

April 2 – In-person delivery of ballot must be received at the Board of Elections by 5 p.m.

April 2 – Ballot envelope must be postmarked and postmarked envelope must be received by the Board of Elections office April 9 by 5 p.m.
