GILBERTSVILLE – A defensive driving course will be given on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 16 and 17 at the Butternut Valley Grange Hall, 7 Bloom Street, Gilbertsville.

Each evening the course runs from 6 to 9 p.m. and participants must attend both classes to receive 10% reduction in their insurance for three years and reduction in points if any are on a driver’s violation record. The course instructor is Nicole Roe of the AAA office in Oneonta.

The fee for the six-hour course is $34 per individual payable to AAA Northeast the first evening of the class. To register for the class, a call to Roger Halbert, 607-783-2691 is suggested.

The Butternut Valley Grange in Gilbertsville is hosting this community service project, open to the public.
