NORWICH — The Chenango Arts Council will be holding the Kids Summer Art Camp again this year, instructed by Leah Dobbin. Participating kids will learn about drawing, painting, ceramics, and more.

"She leads the kids in all kinds of mediums: painting, drawing, ceramics, we have pottery wheels and things like that, and it's a fun time. It’s all different kinds of mediums and projects," said Arts Council Administrative Assistant Mary Beth Miller. "She teaches a lot of techniques, but she also lets the student kind of carry on their own visions. It’s kind of like instruction but then also a lot of room just to have fun and to do what interests you."

The camp is split into two week sessions: July 29 to August 2 and August 5 to 9. Camp will be held Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Chenango Arts Council, located at 27 West Main Street in Norwich.
