NORWICH – Norwich Cyclones football is just around the corner as the teams and cheerleaders are looking for newly interested and returning dedicated players as registration opened on April 8. With football registration going strong, the cheer program is pushing for more sign-ups to bring the spirit this 2024 season.

There are four levels of cheer this coming season with Flag, B, A, and even Modified for seventh and eighth graders. Flag is for students ranging in first and second grade with B for third and fourth graders. Fifth and sixth graders will cheer for the A team. This will be the second year of modified cheerleading, provided to be a level in between A and the high school level to keep the kids active and to continue the ongoing interest of cheerleading at all levels, especially helping varsity numbers.

The registration fee is $40 per child and the team requires a recent copy of the child’s physical in order for them to participate. There are limited spaces, so please register soon. Cyclone practices will begin the week of July 29.
