SHERBURNE — Finding one’s roots can be a daunting task as some family trees have broken branches, yet Brian Lee, from the Four County Library System, is up for the challenge and will utilize online tools to guide participants through their genealogy discoveries.

The Sherburne Public Library (SPL) is hosting a free Genealogy Workshop, starting at 4 p.m., April 18, located at 2 East Street.

Registration is required as space is limited. Call the library at 607-674-4242.

SPL Director Colleen Law-Tefft said Lee has done a lot of genealogy work and has a good amount of experience navigating through the systems.

“I do know he has worked on his own family tree search and is very interested in all genealogy,” Law-Tefft said.
