DELHI – On Wednesday, the Oxford/Greene and Bainbridge-Guilford track and field teams were the local county schools that competed at the MAC league meet in Delhi. Delhi hosted the two, along with Deposit-Hancock. B-G won the girls’ race while the Oxford/Greene boys came out on top with B-G in third place.

Coming off a strong performance in the meet at UV, the Bainbridge-Guilford girls’ track team continued to succeed. As a team, the girls won the 4x400, the 4x800, and the 4x100 relays before solid individual efforts.
Olivia Hall kicked off the girls’ 100 meter hurdles with a third place finish with a time of 22.03 seconds. The junior also earned seventh place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:19.92 and finished 11th in the 200 meter dash.
Makayla McCloud ran past Oxford/Greene’s Kayla Knapp for the victory in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.34 seconds. Elanor Sprow came in third place as Emily Sprow took fifth, Keelan Ammon in sixth, and Macaela Burns in seventh place. Elanor Sprow also finished third in the 200 meter dash with a time of 31.86 seconds with teammate Aubrey Schinn in fifth and Burns in sixth place.
