BAINBRIDGE - If you love traditional Bluegrass music don’t miss the Canaan’s Land Bluegrass Band at the Bainbridge Town Hall Theatre, 15 N. Main Street on Saturday, April 27 at 7 p.m. Canaan's Land is committed to providing top notch traditional bluegrass music with a sprinkling of new era sounds. Precise music and tight harmonies provide a fun and high energy show. This band provides the audience with the best that bluegrass music has to give. Members of the group are Dave Dulaney, Steve Waldon and Tim Lyne.

Dave Dulaney started playing and singing at age eight. He has played bluegrass and country music for over 20 years with "Fiddling Country", "Double Duece", "Laurel Run", and most recently "The Carroll County Ramblers". He plays guitar and mandolin, and sings lead, tenor and baritone. He has a deep love for bluegrass with its hard driving tempos and tight harmonies, and his high energy will keep your toes tapping.

Steve Waldon has been playing bluegrass music since 1998 with bands such as "Briar Hollow", "The Bluegrass Mountain Boys", and "The Carroll County Ramblers". His banjo style is heavily influenced by some of the great bluegrass banjo players such as Earl Scruggs, Don Reno, and Eddie Adcock. He takes an aggressive high energy approach to both lead breaks and backup alike, always trying to come up with new crazy and exciting licks to keep things fun. Hopefully you'll hear something you like! He also plays mandolin and guitar.

Tim Lyne started playing upright bass back in the '70's and has enjoyed every minute of playing Bluegrass music. While he also plays 5-string and guitar, the bass has always been "home sweet home"! He got his start playing bass in Northern Pennsylvania with "The Roots of Bluegrass", where he learned to appreciate the many American stories that Bluegrass tells. Previously, he played with the "Good Word Radio Band", a Bluegrass gospel group.

These boys keep your toe tappin' and your fingers flyin'! Come and give a listen! You won't be disappointed! For more information visit https://clbluegrass.com or their Facebook page.

In addition, there’s always a special treat when you come to musical events at the Town Hall Theatre. Before the show, enjoy music played on the theatre’s residence organ built in 1933 and one of only five Æolian/Skinner residence organs ever built for upstate New York, and the only one known to be intact and in playable condition. Popcorn, popped with real butter in their vintage 1940’s popcorn machine, is available, as well as home baked goods, freshly brewed coffee, soda and bottled water.
