NORWICH – This week, Commerce Chenango would like to highlight Rentals to Go (RTG), a portable toilet business founded in Norwich in 2000.

Today the business includes offices in Texas, Florida, and several branches across Upstate New York. When you “gotta go” and have to use the portable restrooms at a local event in Norwich, NY, you will think of RTG.

Rentals to Go has done business across the United States and expanded our services to much more than portable toilets, to include: bunk houses, campers, flushable restroom trailers, laundry facilities, mobile command centers, light towers, refrigeration units, water storage containers, temporary fencing, and generators. As they continue to grow and expand, RTG remains committed to maintaining a safe work environment for our employees and a family-like culture.

Gary and Holly Brightman are the owners and founders of Rentals to Go, while their three sons, Carter, Grant and Cole Brightman are actively involved in managing the business. Gary Brightman began his career as a contractor. One day, many years ago, he was not able to have a portable toilets delivered to his job site in a timely manner. He decided there must be a need for a portable toilet business and on that fateful day, Rentals To Go was born. With 53 portable toilets and 1 service truck they began their journey into portable sanitation. Today, RTG has 150 employees, seven locations (and growing), thousands of portable toilets, and hundreds of trucks and trailers.

Rentals to Go is constantly growing and changing to meet the needs of their customers. In the last year, they have added 75 new employees. They also added their locations in Killeen, Texas and Englewood, Florida. For the rest of the year, Rentals to Go plans on continuing their upward trajectory, maintaining or increasing their current levels of growth. Their vision statement is: To increase our national reach and impact by expanding our superior equipment and service.

For more than 20 years, Rentals to Go has been able to give back to their local community events and play a part in the success of those events.
