GREENE - Coming off a win over Walton/Downsville, the Greene Trojans baseball team welcomed Harpursville on Friday afternoon. Greene came away with the 4-0 shutout victory to pick up their fourth win of the season.
It was a scoreless game up until the fifth inning, where Greene scored its four runs. A walk and an error started the bottom of the fifth before Eli Eggleston brought in a run. Jackson Roth followed with a two-run double as Ryan Milk grounded out to bring in a run.
Carter Williamson led the Trojans offense wth two hits and stole two bases. Lincoln Youngs pitched a complete two hit shutout with two walks and struck out nine in the win.
