NORWICH – Attempted murder charges have been brought against a man accused of stabbing another man in Norwich late Monday night.
“This was a brutal attack and I am happy to report that the suspect has been arrested,” said City of Norwich Police Chief Reuben Roach.
Kevin Coleman, 42, of Norwich, was arrested following a police investigation and charged with second degree attempted murder, an A Class felony; first degree assault, a B Class felony; and third degree criminal possession of a weapon, a D Class felony.
The Norwich Police Department responded to a 911 call at about 11:40 p.m. Monday night, after an injured victim fled from a knife attack on Brown Avenue.
