CHENANGO COUNTY — Library card holders for participating libraries in the Four County Library System have access to Libby, a free app with a wide selection of ebooks, audiobooks, and digital magazines.

A free, hour-long webinar will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 15 to teach users the ins and outs of the Libby app. The webinar will include the basics of Libby, such as downloading the app, signing in, searching and borrowing titles, setting holds, adjusting reading settings, and more, as well as what sets Libby apart from other apps, additional learning resources, and a question and answer portion.

To register for the webinar, visit bit.ly/LibbyWebinars. Registrants will be emailed a link to the virtual meeting, and 24 hours after the webinar they will receive a link to a recording of the webinar.

Libby can be used on a computer at LibbyApp.com, or on mobile Apple and Android devices.

Guernsey Memorial Library Executive Director Connie Dalrymple said after downloading the app, users will be prompted to select their library and enter their library card information, as well as their pin. She said anyone who can't remember their pin can simply contact Guernsey at 607-334-4034 or guernsey@4cls.org to reset it.
