NEW BERLIN – Preferred Mutual Insurance Company’s (PMIC) Board of Directors recently approved the promotion of three leaders for the company. PMIC is excited to announce the following promotions:

Michael (Mike) DeHetre was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Underwriting Officer.

Mike joined Preferred Mutual Insurance Company in August 2022 to lead our Underwriting organization. His role expanded in early 2024 as he assumed responsibility for Sales & Distribution and Home Office Marketing. As a member of the Executive Team, he oversees the continued implementation of the company’s strategic plan, with focus on the strategic objective to Advance Small Commercial Business and Product.

Michelle Raue was appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Claims Officer.

Since joining Preferred Mutual in August 2020, Michelle has led the Claims organization as well as PMIC’s Transformation initiative. With over 30 years of Property and Casualty Insurance experience, Michelle uses her extensive knowledge to drive continuous process and performance improvements to help PMIC continue to provide a differentiated claims experience.

Sheena Moshetti was appointed Vice President, Strategy Execution.

Sheena has been with Preferred Mutual for nearly 18 years, starting first in the Claims department and then moving into a variety of Development and Project Management roles as both an individual contributor and a manager. She will continue leading the Enterprise Project Management Office and as a member of Preferred Mutual’s Transformation project team in her new role.
