NORWICH – NBT Bank’s latest Wall of Art installation at NBT headquarters in downtown Norwich features award winning artwork created by high school students from across Chenango County.
The artwork was first displayed in March as part of the Chenango Area Student Art (CASA) show at the Chenango Arts Council’s Mariea Brown and Raymond Loft Galleries.
“We are so proud of all the participants of our Chenango Student Art Showcase and grateful NBT has allowed us to further showcase the winners,” said Chenango Arts Council Executive Director Alecia O’Neill. “We highly recommend people come view the work of these talented young artists.” The student artwork will be on display at NBT until the end of May.
The mission of the Chenango Arts Council is to connect the arts to our communities to enrich quality of life. Art is one of the most powerful and useful tools for communicating, expressing, as well as connecting other people to one another or to a central message that seeks to be expressed. Chenango Arts Council strives to help those who seek venues to perform, spaces to exhibit, room to create, and people to share the passion of the Fine Arts.
