NORWICH — Local blues rock group the Nate Gross Band will be performing at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 25 at Hidden Springs Brewhouse, located at 170 Country Road 31 in Norwich.

The band is made up of lead singer and guitarist Nate Gross, Patrick Corbet on bass, Bo Matheson on drums, and Ben Gross on keyboard.

"We call it blues rock. It’s blues, but we kind of kicked it up," said Nate Gross. "When you’re brought up in the 80s and 90s you have a totally different view on rock and roll and everything, so that kind of comes out, and people like it ... They're kind of relating to these retro sounds, but they like the fresh vibe that we try to add to it, bringing in blues influences and whatnot."
