CHENANGO COUNTY – The Tri-County Horseshoe League is back for the 2024 season and features teams around the Broome, Tioga, and Chenango counties. The league recently wrapped up its fifth week, as they started the season on April 20. As of May 16, Betty’s Boys II is in the lead with a 63-17 record.
Betty’s Boys II and Riverside, whose home pits are at the Greene Bowlodrome this season, both have 80 points. Riverside sits in second with a 55-25 record as Octagon, Pond Crew, and Ticknors round out the top five teams.
Betty’s Boys II defeated Dam Team last week 14-2 as Riverside picked up the 11-5 win over Ticknors. Octagon earned the 13-3 victory over Pond Crew while Betty’s Boys and Bowlodrome both tied at 8 and Chuggers defeated Seebers 10-6. Hilltop received a bye and are tied with Betty’s Boys in seventh place.
The Tri-County Horseshoe League meets every Thursday night.
