CHENANGO COUNTY — Country music singer Darryl Worley will be headlining this summer's Fireworks Over the Fairgrounds on July 4 at the Chenango County Fairgrounds.

Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free for children ten years old and younger, and $20 if purchased in advance at Norwich Copies Plus or EventBrite.com, or $25 the day of the event.

This year's event will include music by Sundown, food vendors, craft vendors, and inflatable attractions for kids.

Jason Wicks will give an opening performance before headliner Darryl Worley takes the stage. The Country Music Awards- and Academy of Country Music Awards-nominated Worley is known for all-American, blue-collar themes in his country hits such as "I Miss My Friend," "Awful Beautiful Life," and "Do You Remember."
