EARLVILLE - Enjoy a month of fun at the Earlville Opera House this June beginning with the multi-national Irish and Scottish Celtic folk rock tunes of Gaelic Storm on Thursday, June 6, 7 p.m., followed by a new round of three visual artist exhibitions on Saturday, June 8, from 1 to 3 p.m., with two special Pride Paranormal NY tours in the 1892 theater that same evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight.

Come join the fun and feel the pride. Information available at www.earlvilleoperahouse.com.

On June 6 at 7 p.m., after two decades and over 2000 shows, Gaelic Storm will land on the historic EOH Main Stage, a true force to be reckoned with. With their latest release, “Go Climb a Tree”, their music has never sounded more representative of themselves as musicians and as live performers. The band attributes their continued success to their fanatic audiences- the country music folks adore the storytelling, the bluegrass-heads love the instrumentals, Celtic fans love their devotion to tradition, and the rockers simply relish the passion they play their instruments with. Don’t miss this STORM coming to CNY, they’re bound to knock you off your feet!

Tickets are $45 general admission, $40 members (become a member!), $10 for youth (17 and under), with college students half off general admission. Premiums apply to select rows. Tickets are available at www.earlvilleoperahouse.com or by calling (315) 691-3550. EOH’s Artisan Gift Shop will be open.

On June 8 from 1 to 3 p.m., join us to celebrate the work of three incredibly talented artists representing diverse and unique forms of artistic media. Highlighted in the East Gallery is Kenny Harris with his "Envisivivarium" exhibit, a collection of mythological figures illustrated on thin paper with black ink, held upright in space by steel armature, casting their shadows on the surrounding surfaces, leaving the viewer with a sense of a fantastic realness in their presence. Featured in the West Gallery is “Music Drawing - Rhythm and Variation” by New York City artist Gahae Park who’s work fuses raw material of music into visual, emotional and intellectual forms by drawing with cut paper, shaping and layering positive and negative space into rhythms. Our Arts Café boasts the work of Katelyn Lee with her exhibit “Six Impossible Things”, displaying how a simple brushstroke can say more of what the artist needs to say than a thousand words ever could. Her series pays homage to Lewis Carroll, for being an eloquent poet and novelist and still choosing to write nonsense. This round of exhibits is up through July 13. Gallery openings and visits are always free and open to the public with generous support from Golden Artist Colors. Special thanks to Jewetts Cheese House for being our reception cheese sponsor.

And lastly, BOO! Join us for two Pride Paranormal NY Tours on June 8 from 7 to 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. to midnight where lead investigator Kenny Harris will provide a night of fun, education and exploration of the paranormal possibilities in the historic 1892 EOH theater- we never know what will happen! Tours are $20 each, call (315) 691-3550 to register now as space is limited!
