Tri-County Horseshoe League: Betty’s Boys II Still Going Strong After Week Seven

CHENANGO COUNTY – The Tri-County Horseshoe League wrapped up its seventh week on Thursday, May 30 with Betty’s Boys II still going strong in first place. They now hold a steady lead as they’re about nine games ahead of Octagon, who sits in second place with a 80-16 record.

Betty’s Boys II earned a 13-3 win over Bowlodrome to improve their record to 89-23 on the season. Bowlodrome is tied with Hilltop for eighth place as both teams have 35 wins. Hilltop lost to Riverside, who is in third place, in a close 10-6 match. Octagon picked up the dominant 15-1 win over Seebers, who are tied for the final spot in the standings with Chuggers with both team having 29 wins.

Betty’s Boys defeated Chuggers 12-4 as Ticknors won against Dam Team 10-6 and Pond Crew, who are in fourth place, stay still with a bye.

The Tri-County Horseshoe League meets every Thursday night.
