Tri-County Horseshoe League: Betty’s Boys II Clings To Lead After Week Eight
Published: June 12th, 2024

CHENANGO COUNTY – The Tri-County Horseshoe League wrapped up its eighth week on June 6 with Betty’s Boys II still in first place, but is now hanging on by a thread with Octagon threatening. Betty’s Boys II stands at 98-30, but now only has a three-game lead ahead of Octagon in second place, at 95-17.

Riverside, Pond Crew, and Betty’s Boys round out the top five teams. A league that was filled with a few ties last week had no ties this time around.

Seebers, who sits in the final spot with a record of 29-83, had a bye week as Chuggers picked up the one point that they needed to move up a spot. Octagon defeated Chuggers 15-1.

Betty’s Boys II came away with a tight win against Betty’s Boys by a score of 9-7 as Ticknors sneaked past Bowlodrome 10-6. Pond Crew took the close 9-7 win over Riverside, who remains in third place.

Dam Team defeated Hilltop 13-3 to round out the week.

The Tri-County Horseshoe League meets every Thursday night.
