OXFORD – The Otsenango Pony League is back for the 2024 season. Oxford, who plays in division A with other local teams such as Sherburne and Norwich, hosted Edmeston on Monday evening. Oxford had a 3-0 lead up until the top of the fourth inning, but they fell by a final score of 14-4.

Oxford had an early 3-0 lead with Nic Dodzweit wheeling and dealing on the mound, coming off a solid varsity season for the Blackhawks. Dodzweit had two hits in the game while Uri Tracey, Brent Hamilton, and Ben Sheridan each had one hit. Hamilton drove in Dodzweit in Oxford’s final at-bats and Sheridan led the team with two stolen bases and closed out the game on the mound.
