SNB Horseshoe Club: Prolifiq Sign Studio Slides Into First After Week Six

SOUTH NEW BERLIN – The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club has seen many lead changes thus far in the 2024 season, including the wrapping up of week six. As of June 12, Tresta Smith and Kate Lloyd of Prolifiq Sign Studio sits in first place with a half game lead over Webster Paving (Ed Webster/Bob Wells). Webster Paving, Nomadic Addicts, and Fun Lovers, who are in the top four spots, all once held a lead in the standings for a week or two. Roger’s Best Value Tire & Auto (Cindy Miller/Joe Miller) are looking to make their mark sometime soon at the fifth position.

The Men and Women’s leaderboards also got shaken up this week, along with the standings. Lee Coon took the victory in the men’s high singles with a 73 over Bob Wells’ 66 and Tim Lidell’s 65. Lidell earned the win for the high series with a 183 over Wells’ 176 and Al Patten’s 173.

Sheryl Thurston had the highest single game of a 60 for the women over Kate Lloyd’s 55 and Cindy Miller’s 48. Thurston and Lloyd swapped places for the high series as Lloyd had the highest series of a 161 and Thurston and Miller both had a 136.

Kelly’s Flowers (Ed Kohler/Lee Coon) took two of the four team victories with a win for high singles with a 120 and a win in the high single handicap with a 228. Webster Paving had the highest team series with a 342 as Prolifiq Sign Studio took the high series handicap with a 634.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night.
