OXFORD – Because the hardworking local farmers’ who grow and raise our food are out in all weather, in all seasons, from early morning into the wee hours of the night, the Oxford Farmers’ Market runs year round to get you that fresh nourishing food, straight from the hands of those who produce it, rain or shine. This Saturday, vendors will be offering just-picked seasonal fruits, veggies and mushrooms as well as plant starts for your own gardens; chicken and duck eggs; a wide range of cheese, butter, and other dairy products; locally raised and processed lamb and pork; artisanal breads and baked goods, fudges, and jams; hot and iced coffees; local hard ciders; maple syrup and honey; hand-made soaps, lotions and balms; items for the kitchen and home; and artisan fiber products. Every product straight from a local source and the skilled hands of your neighbors.
In addition, the fabulous duo, Jenni Larchar and Tom Murphy, will be performing songs from the Great American Songbook, vintage country, fiddle and Irish tunes in the Bandstand, 10 am - Noon.
