Octagon Remains In Control Of The Tri-County Horseshoe League

CHENANGO COUNTY – After taking advantage of Betty’s Boys II bye week in the previous week, Octagon remains in first place for the second straight week after the conclusion of the 11th week.

Octagon and Betty’s Boys II faced off for the week of June 27 with Octagon winning 12-4. Coming off scoring 14 points during the 10th week and 12 last week, Octagon holds a 30 point lead in the standings with 137 wins and 23 losses.

Betty’s Boys II is ahead of Pond Crew, who sit in third place, by 15 points as Betty’s Boys II has a current record of 117-43 going into the 12th week. The 11th week also wrapped up half of the summer season, which runs from April 18 to June 27 with the second half from July 4 to September 12.

Pond Crew won a tight match against Betty’s Boys 9-7 as Riverside held on to a 10-6 victory over Dam Team. Ticknors defeated Chuggers 11-5 while Hilltop sits in the eight hole with a 12-4 win over Seebers. Bowlodrome stays put with a bye week and are currently in ninth place with a record of 55-105.

The Tri-County Horseshoe League meets every Thursday night.
