CHENANGO COUNTY – Chenango County is slated to receive more than $4 million in state aid for replacement of aging culverts in townships across the area.

Awards were announced through the NYS Department of Transportation’s Bridge NY program which supports projects that will reduce the risk of flooding and bolster the resiliency of nearby structures.

The $4 million to Chenango includes:

$2.1 million to the Town of Norwich for the replacement of White Store Road bridge over the White Store Brook Tributary.
