CHENANGO COUNTY – The 13th week of the Tri-County Horseshoe League wrapped up on July 11 with Octagon still going strong in the top spot. Octagon currently has 164 wins and is ahead of Betty’s Boys II, who has 140 wins, by 24 points. Betty’s Boys II continues to fight their way back little by little.

Pond Crew stands still in the third hole, along with Riverside and Ticknors to round out the top five teams. Octagon defeated Riverside 13-3 as Betty’s Boys II knocked off Pond Crew 11-5. Betty’s Boys remains in the sixth spot after a bye week while Hilltop won over Ticknors 11-5. Bowlodrome and Dam Team pulled off tight wins with Bowlodrome getting the win against Seebers 10-6 while Dam Team just got by Chuggers 9-7.

The Tri-County Horseshoe League meets every Thursday night until the season concludes in September.
