COVENTRY – It's blueberry season in Central New York and time to celebrate Coventry's 17th annual blueberry festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 27, located at 1839 Route 235, in Coventry.
Coventry Events Committee Secretary Treasurer Joanne Clark said there will be live entertainment, raffles, games, food, vendors and more. "The main thing we do is try to keep expenses low for the parents, and most things for the children are free," said Clark.
“Two Old Frogs concession games will be charging a fee but basically the only thing attendees will have to pay for is the food," she said.
Children's games are free and include face painting, two bounce houses and pony rides. Cornell Birds of Prey will bring education and entertainment along with shows from Magician David Black.
Clark said the Cornell Birds of Prey show is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Magician David Black has three show times: 12:30, 1 :30 and 2:30.
