OXFORD – The Oxford Academy reunion weekend kick-off will be happening once again at the Fort Hill American Legion on Friday, July 26, with the Blackhawk Alumni Ice Breaker.
Post 376 sponsors this annual fundraiser. Bring your appetite, your yearbook and your dancing shoes for an evening of fun.
Food will be available from 5 to 9 p.m. The Legion will be cooking up hotdogs, chicken spiedies, and other sandwiches. Dance to the DJ from 6 to 10 p.m., but the party keeps on going. Oxford Academy class reunions (especially the classes of 2014, 2004, 1994, 1984, etc.) other alums, and all the public are welcome. (Cash bar; over 21, please.)
This American Legion fundraiser occurs annually on the last Friday of the last full weekend in July. The event benefits the mission of the American Legion, a non-profit patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our community, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow service members and veterans.
