CHENANGO COUNTY – The Tri-County Horseshoe League wrapped up its 15th week on July 25 with the top four teams staying put, but there was a big move at the fifth spot. Dam Team fought their way from eighth last week to join Octagon, Betty’s Boys II, Pond Crew, and Riverside in the top five teams.

Ticknors, who was in fifth place for a few weeks, slides down to seventh and Betty’s Boys remains in sixth. The standings are close, besides the top two, so, anyone could easily take the third spot in the next few weeks. Pond Crew is currently holds a 10 points lead over Riverside for third place at the moment.

Octagon received a bye week, so they stay still and command a 13 point lead ahead of Betty’s Boys II. Betty’s Boys II picked up a big 11-5 victory over Hilltop as Dam Team defeated Seebers 14-2. Riverside earned the 13-3 win over Chuggers while Pond Crew won a close 10-6 game against Bowlodrome. Betty’s Boys rounded out the week with a 10-6 win against Ticknors.
