CHENANGO COUNTY - On Thursday, August 1, Commerce Chenango hosted a community luncheon at the Sundown Golf & Country Club for Afton, Bainbridge, Guilford, and Mount Upton residents and business owners.
These municipalities lie in what Commerce Chenango President and CEO Sal Testani coined the “Eastern part of Chenango County,” and do not fall along the Route 12 corridor, presenting some geographic and transportation challenges.
Commerce Chenango officials welcomed guest to the luncheon. Testani went on to describe the purpose and function of Commerce Chenango, as well as provide an update on current happenings in the rest of the area.
Commerce Chenango is making efforts to work closely with the Bainbridge and Afton Chambers to make our information and services more accessible to businesses in the area. “We are extremely happy to have held an event at the Sundown Golf & Country Club, Brian and Ian have done incredible work on that facility. It was a great opportunity to meet with businesses on the eastern part of the county and to let more people know how Commerce Chenango can help them,” Testani said.
