Norwich Pharmaceuticals and The Place work to help local youths Norwich Pharmaceuticals, an Alvogen company, presents a donation to the The Place. NORWICH – Norwich Pharmaceuticals recently made a generous donation to help provide program supplies for teen and kid programming at The Place, a non-profit community group in Norwich.

Additionally, a portion of this donation will be used to benefit the Back to School Supply Drive that will also benefit Chenango County youth.

Norwich Pharmaceuticals spokesperson Luke Murphy said the donation of $2020 was made possible by all the employees at Norwich Pharmaceuticals from deposit returns.

“The Norwich team is very dedicated to the community in which we live, work, and serve in and value the wonderful services The Place has been offering to our youth and community for over 40 years,” said Murphy.

He added, “Organizations like The Place are a true definition of what a community organization is and the services they provide in developing our youth, who become our future workforce and leaders. Our purpose as a company is to make a difference in people’s lives by the high-quality medicines that we produce to help people live longer, healthier and more active lives and by being apart of the communities we are in.”
