SNB Horseshoe Club: Potter’s Tires Still In Control With Ties For Second And Third

SOUTH NEW BERLIN – The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club has seen its share of lead changes and ties over the start, but Potter’s Tires (Billy Schermerhorn/John Edwards) have stood their ground to remain in control. As of August 14, Potter’s Tires holds a 10-point lead.

Prolifiq Sign Studio (Tresta Smith/Kate Lloyd) and Rustic Ridge (Ron Anderson/George Hanslmaier) are tied for second with a record of 39.5-20.5. Prolifiq Sign Studio currently holds the point advantage 8764 to Rustic Ridge’s 8652.

Kelly’s Flowers (Ed Kohler/Lee Coon) and Old Skool Lawnmower Repair & Service (Larry Shaw/Dan Raymond) are also tied for third place with a record of 38.5-21.5. Kelly’s Flowers holds the 8708 to 8624 point advantage for the moment. There are also teams battling it out lower down the standings.

Aside from leading the standings for consecutive weeks and throughout the season, Potter’s Tires picked up three out of four team victories with Fun Lovers (Tim Lidell/Mike Grant) taking the team high series 336 to Potter’s Tires’ 335.

Potter’s Tires’ Billy Schermerhorn also swept the men’s high singles and high series while Roger’s Best Value Tire & Auto’s Cindy Miller took both the women’s high singles and high series over Sheryl Thurston and Tresta Smith.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night until the season concludes in two weeks.
