Tri-County Horseshoe League: Octagon Remain Steady After Week 18

CHENANGO COUNTY – The Tri-County Horseshoe League concluded its 18th week on August 15 with Octagon holding a steady 20-point lead ahead of Betty’s Boys II. Octagon is currently 220-36 while Betty’s Boys II reached 200 points and is well in control of second place by 41 points.

Riverside, Pond Crew, and Betty’s Boys round out the top five teams. Pond Crew is one point behind Riverside, so they could surpass them in weeks to come for the third spot. Pond Crew did have a bye week while Riverside picked up 12 points in the 12-4 win over Hilltop.

Octagon stayed strong with a 16-0 shutout against last place Seebers as Betty’s Boys II achieved a 15-1 win over Bowlodrome. Ticknors defeated Dam Team 11-5 as Betty’s Boys sit comfortably after a 12-4 victory over Chuggers.

The Tri-Country Horseshoe League meets every Thursday night until the season concludes in September.
