SOUTH NEW BERLIN – The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club is winding down for the 2024 season and as of August 21, Potter’s Tires (Billy Schermerhorn/John Edwards) look like they’re taking the club title this year. They hold a 12-point lead over both Prolifiq Sign Studio and Rustic Ridge, who are tied for second place with a record of 41.5-22.5. Prolifiq Sign Studio’s Kate Lloyd and Tresta Smith hold a 9379 to 9224 point advantage over Ron Anderson and George Hanslmaier.

Aside from holding a steady lead for a majority of the season, Potter’s Tires also split the week’s team leaderboards with Webster Paving. Webster Paving’s Ed Webster and Bob Wells took the team high singles with a 141 over Potter’s Tires 130 and also won the team handicap high singles with a 229.

Potter’s Tires took the high series with a 359 over Webster Paving’s 357 and won the team high series handicap Wirth a 629 over Oneonta Garage Doors (625) and Webster Paving (621).

Kate Lloyd swept the women’s leaderboards as Ed Webster earned the men’s high singles victory with a 72 over Al Patten and Billy Schermerhorn’s 71. Al Patten achieved the win in the men’s high series with a 208.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe Club meets every Wednesday night until the season concludes after this week’s August 28 round.
