CHENANGO COUNTY – The Tri-County Horseshoe League wrapped up week 19 on August 22 with Octagon still holding on to the lead. Betty’s Boys II keeps fighting their way, closer to that top spot with being 10 points, potentially just a game or two away.
With a few weeks left to play, the rest of the standings are battling for other positions. Pond Crew is just one point ahead of Riverside in the third spot while Dam Team is 10 points behind Betty’s Boys to reach the top five with Ticknors five points behind them.
Seebers received a bye week and remain in the final spot of the standings. Octagon achieved a big 13-3 win over Chuggers, who besides Seebers, is one of the only two teams without 100 points, as they have 86.
Betty’s Boys II also won by a score of 13-3 over Betty’s Boys.
Hilltop had a close game against Dam Team, but came out on top 9-7. Pond Crew also battled with Riverside to take a tight 9-7 victory to stay in third place for the time being. Bowlodrome and Ticknors tied at 8 to round out the week.
